US-395 rises steadily from the Spaghetti Bowl through Panther Valley to the North Valleys, and the drive home after work is a long, loaded pull for an automatic transmission. That is worth knowing when you read the two columns in your manual. ## Honest about the distance Neither service center is around the corner. Take US-395 south, exit at North McCarran, head west and turn onto Mae Anne Avenue, about 25 minutes by free-flow routing. If your work is in south Reno or near the airport, staying on US-395 to Longley Lane is about 24 and amounts to the same choice.
