Fleet service program

Our fleet program gives a company's trucks, vans and cars the same drive-in oil change and maintenance check as everyone else, with pricing agreed per account and a service record kept for each vehicle. Any driver can pull into any of the four service centers during business hours without an appointment.

A work truck in the Reno Northwest bay

A work truck that is sitting in a dealership waiting room is not earning. That is the whole case for a drive-in fleet program: the driver pulls into the bay on the way to the first job, the oil and filter are done while the inspection happens, and the truck is back on the road the same morning. We have serviced company vehicles since the Castrol years, and the Longley Lane reviews are full of fleet managers who have been bringing their trucks in for five and ten years. The program covers service and utility trucks, delivery and cargo vans, and company passenger vehicles, from a plumber's two vans to a regional outfit with trucks in Reno, Carson City and the Carson Valley.

What a fleet visit includes

Each visit is a full-service oil change in the grade the manufacturer specifies, a new oil filter, chassis lubrication where the vehicle calls for it, and the multi-point maintenance check: engine and cabin air filters, transmission, brake, power steering and washer fluids, coolant level and condition, battery test where the service center offers it, wiper blades, headlights and tail lights, tire pressure, and a look under the hood and under the chassis. The technician writes down what was found. Fleet drivers often are not the person who decides, so the finding goes on the ticket for the manager instead of being a question at the window.

Beyond the oil change, the same service centers handle the items that keep work vehicles out of the repair bay: transmission fluid service, differential service for trucks that tow, coolant flushes ahead of Reno summers, filters, wipers, bulbs and fuel system cleaning. Diesel pickups are welcome; call the service center first about capacity and filter stock for a specific truck.

Why Northern Nevada fleets wear faster

Washoe County households average about 1.96 vehicles and a 22.5-minute commute, Douglas County 2.25 vehicles and 26.2 minutes (Census ACS 2020-2024). A fleet vehicle does several of those commutes a day, plus the parts that count as severe service in every owner's manual: the 4,400 to 4,900-foot elevation of our service centers (USGS), Reno's 65 days a year at 90 F or hotter and 122 freezing nights (NOAA 1991-2020 normals), gravel job sites, and the grades on the Mount Rose Highway, Geiger Grade and US-395 over to the Carson Valley. Severe service means the shorter interval in the manual, and a program that tracks miles per vehicle is how a manager keeps to it.

How an account works

Fleet pricing is agreed with the account, so the public coupons on this site do not apply to fleet tickets. The fleet onboarding checklist walks through what to gather before the first call, and the fleet maintenance plan guide shows how to set intervals by vehicle type.

  1. Send the form below or call any service center with the number of vehicles, the types, and where they are based.
  2. We agree the pricing and the services per vehicle type for your account; nothing is published, nothing is a surprise on the invoice.
  3. Drivers pull into the service center nearest the job. A vehicle list on the account tells the technician what the manager wants done and what to flag.
  4. Service records are kept per vehicle and sent on request, so you can see what was done, when, and at what mileage.

Have a truck due now? Send it to the nearest service center today and set up the account while it is in the bay.

Fleet worksheet

How many visits a year is your fleet?

Count the vehicles and guess the miles. The worksheet turns that into oil-change visits a year, so a plan is easy to talk through. No prices here; fleet pricing is agreed per account.

Your year

Enter the vehicle count and the monthly miles.

Intervals are typical published guidance (AAA, API); your fleet's manuals and duty cycle set the real schedule. One account, drive-in service at any of the four service centers, a record per vehicle.

Questions people ask

Still have a question? Call your service center or drive in; there is no appointment to make.

Which service center handles fleet accounts?

Any of the four can take a fleet vehicle. Send the form or call the service center closest to where your vehicles are based and we route the account setup from there.

Do fleet vehicles need an appointment?

No. Drive in during business hours. If you have several trucks to bring in on the same day, a call ahead helps us keep the bay moving.

Can you service diesel trucks?

Yes, diesel pickups and vans. Call the service center about a specific truck so the right filter and oil are on hand.

Do you keep records we can use for resale or audits?

Yes. Each vehicle on the account has a service record with dates, mileage and services, available on request.

Do fleet vehicles get the Nevada smog check too?

At the Reno service centers, yes, for vehicles registered in the Washoe testing area. Carson City and Douglas County vehicles do not need one.
