By joining you agree to receive service reminders and offers from Xpress Oil & Lube by email. You confirm by clicking the link we send. Unsubscribe any time. Privacy policy.

Most people find out an oil change is due from the sticker on the windshield, about two months after they should have looked at it. The club fixes that. Tell us your email, your vehicle and roughly how many miles you drive, and we email you before the next service is due, with the service center nearest you and its hours in the message. Washoe County drivers can add their registration renewal month and get a nudge to come in for the smog check before the DMV deadline.

At a glance

How joining works

The confirmation step is there on purpose. It keeps anyone from signing you up without your say-so, and it proves to mail providers that you asked for our messages, which keeps the reminders out of the spam folder.

  1. Fill in the form above: email, first name, zip, your preferred service center and your vehicle.
  2. Check your inbox for a confirmation email and click the button in it. Nothing is sent until you do.
  3. Your welcome coupon arrives with the confirmation and shows on the thank-you page.
  4. Reminders start from your next recorded visit, or from the last service date you give us.

What we send and how often

A reminder goes out when your oil change is due by date or by miles, with one or two follow-ups if you have not been in. Members in the Reno and Sparks smog area get a reminder before their registration month. In mid-October we send one seasonal note about wipers, batteries and antifreeze, and in mid-May one about A/C and coolant. That is the whole calendar. We cap it at one marketing email a week and never more than six in three months, and if you just had a service we leave you alone for a week except to say thanks.

Every message carries a plain unsubscribe link and a preferences page where you can turn off reminders for one vehicle and keep them for another, change your service center, or delete everything we hold. The phone field on the form is optional, and the separate text-message box stays unchecked unless you check it; even then we do not text until we have a texting program set up and tell you so.

What we keep

Your email, first name, zip, preferred service center, the vehicles you add, the mileage and dates you or the service center record, and the coupons issued to you. Nothing is sold or shared. The privacy policy spells out the retention period and how to delete your record. Members also get My Garage, where the same information shows on one page with your next-due dates.

Questions people ask

Still have a question? Call your service center or drive in; there is no appointment to make.

Is there a cost to join?

No. The club is free and the welcome coupon is a discount on a service you choose.

I joined the old email list years ago. Do I need to join again?

Yes, please. The new club runs on a new system with its own confirmation, and we only email people who confirmed on it.

Will you text me?

No. The club is email only. The optional text box on the form is for a future program, and nothing is sent to your phone unless you opted in and we have told you that texting started.

How do I unsubscribe?

Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. It takes effect immediately. The preferences page lets you pause one vehicle instead of leaving entirely.
