People search "oil change cost" before they search for a service center, and the honest answer is a range that depends on the oil, the vehicle and the region. Rather than guess, each cost page lists three to six figures from sources that publish them, names who published each one, and explains what moves a price up or down: synthetic versus conventional, capacity over five quarts, a cartridge filter, a diesel, a dealer-only fluid. For a smog check, the number that matters is the state's cap, and that one is public.
Every figure above is a published third-party number with the date we read it, not our price. Xpress Oil & Lube prices are on the menu board at each service center and on the coupons page; call your service center for today's price on your vehicle.
How to read a cost page
The figures table at the top carries the item, the published range, the source, its link and the date we read it. Below it, the factors section explains why your car might land at the low or the high end of that range. We quote our own price when you pull in, on a written estimate when the job will run past the amount Nevada's garage law sets, and the technician asks before adding anything. A coupon comes off that number.
Ten pages cover the services people ask about most: the oil change, the synthetic oil change, the Nevada smog check with the DMV cap, transmission fluid service, coolant flush, differential service, power steering flush, fuel system cleaning, A/C recharge and the cabin air filter.
Read the range, then drive in and get the real number for your car before anyone touches it.
