Terms of Use

1. Agreement to these Terms

Using the Site means visiting any page, sending a form, saving or redeeming a coupon, joining the email club, signing in to My Garage, using a tool or chatting with Rev. Each of those is your acceptance of these Terms as they read on that day.

If you use the Site on behalf of a business, for example to ask about our fleet program, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that business, and "you" includes the business.

2. Definitions

In these Terms:

• "Site" means xpressoilandlube.com, garage.xpressoilandlube.com and every page, tool, form and email that comes from them.
• "Shop" means any of our four locations listed in section 3.
• "Coupon" means an offer shown on the Site, in a club email or in My Garage that can be redeemed at a service center.
• "Email club" means the service reminder and offer emails you can join at /join/.
• "My Garage" means the account area at /garage/ and garage.xpressoilandlube.com.
• "Rev" or "the chat assistant" means the automated chat window on the Site, built by YelloPost AI.
• "Tools" means the What's Due checker, the Nevada smog helper, the fleet worksheet, the coupon wallet and any similar feature on the Site.
• "Content" means the text, images, photos, logos, data, code and design of the Site.
• "YelloPost" means YelloPost, the Reno, Nevada agency that builds and operates the Site for us.

3. About us

Xpress Oil & Lube Center is a locally owned drive-in oil change and vehicle maintenance company that has served Northern Nevada since 1983. We operate four service centers: Reno Northwest at 6100 Mae Anne Ave, Reno, NV 89523, (775) 787-1000; Reno South at 4993 Longley Ln, Reno, NV 89502, (775) 828-6996; Carson City at 1861 E College Pkwy, Carson City, NV 89706, (775) 883-5823; and Gardnerville at 1293 US Hwy 395 N, Gardnerville, NV 89410, (775) 301-5912. Our mailing address for notices under these Terms is 4993 Longley Ln, Reno, NV 89502.

No appointment is needed at any service center, and service is done while you wait. Hours for each service center are posted on its location page and on its Google listing; hours can change on holidays, so call ahead if you are driving a distance.

4. Using the Site

You may use the Site for its purpose: to learn about our services, find a service center, save a coupon, join the club, keep your garage, ask us a question or ask for a call back. You must be at least 13 to use the Site and at least 18 to join the email club, use My Garage or make a fleet inquiry on behalf of a business. In using the Site you agree not to:

• Give us false information, use someone else's email address or sign in to a garage that is not yours.
• Send spam, sales pitches, bulk messages or anything unlawful, threatening or abusive through the forms, the chat or the call-back panel.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, copy or harvest the Site or its data, other than search engines indexing public pages under our robots rules.
• Try to get around the bot check, the rate limits, the duplicate-lead guard or any other security measure, or probe the Site for weaknesses.
• Copy, alter, forge or mass-produce coupons or coupon codes, or sell or trade coupons.
• Upload malware or anything that could harm the Site, our servers or other visitors.
• Load the Site in a frame on another site, or copy its Content onto another site, without our written permission.
• Use the Site to collect information about other people.
• Pretend to be us, our staff or YelloPost.
• Use the Site in any way that breaks a law or someone else's rights.

We may limit, suspend or block access to the Site, the club, My Garage or the coupons for anyone who breaks these rules, without notice. We may also decline to honor a coupon that we reasonably believe was copied, altered or obtained by abuse.

5. The information on the Site is general

The Site describes how oil changes, fluid services, filters, smog checks and other maintenance work in general, and what intervals are common. Everything about intervals, fluids and parts on the Site is general guidance drawn from manufacturers' published schedules and public sources such as AAA, the Car Care Council and the Nevada DMV, cited on the page. It is not advice about your particular vehicle.

Your owner's manual sets the service schedule for your vehicle, and the inspection done at the service center on the day of your visit is what tells you what your vehicle needs. Where the Site and your manual differ, follow the manual. Where the Site and the technician's findings differ, the findings govern, and you decide what work to have done.

The What's Due tool and the smog helper work from the information you enter and from published schedules and DMV rules. Their results are estimates. A wrong year, make, mileage or county gives a wrong answer. Nevada's smog rules, the counties that test, the exemptions and the DMV's fee caps change from time to time; the Nevada DMV's website (dmv.nv.gov) is the authority, and we update the Site when we learn of a change.

Which services each service center performs can change. In particular, smog checks are listed at our two Reno service centers.

6. Service at the service centers

The Site is not a booking system. Nothing on the Site, in a club email or in the chat reserves a bay, holds a time or commits a service center to a price. When you drive in, the service center looks at the vehicle, tells you what it found and what it recommends, and you choose. The written invoice you receive at the service center is the record of the work and the charge.

Work done at a service center is subject to Nevada's motor vehicle repair laws (NRS 487.530 to 487.690), which give you rights such as a written estimate on request before work begins and an itemized invoice. Those rights come from the law, not from these Terms, and these Terms do not reduce them.

Prices are set at the service center and can differ by vehicle, oil type, capacity and location. The Site does not publish our prices, and any third-party cost figure quoted on the Site is that source's figure, cited in the same sentence, not ours.

7. Coupons

Coupons on the Site, in club emails and in My Garage are offers we make to customers who drive in. These rules apply to every coupon unless the coupon itself says otherwise:

• The terms printed on the coupon govern: the service it applies to, the service centers that honor it, the expiration date and any limits such as the vehicles it fits. Read the coupon face; if it is not on the face, it is not a condition.
• One coupon per vehicle per visit. Coupons cannot be combined with each other or with another offer unless the coupon says they can.
• A coupon must be shown before the work is written up, on your phone, on paper or from your garage. Coupons have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or a refund, in whole or in part.
• A member coupon with a unique code can be redeemed once. The service center records the code when it is used.
• A coupon is valid only for a service the service center performs on the day you visit. If the service center does not perform that service, the coupon cannot be honored there, and the Site tells you which service centers honor each offer.
• Coupons cannot be sold, traded, altered or copied. We may refuse a coupon we reasonably believe was obtained or used contrary to these rules.
• We may change or withdraw an offer for future visits at any time, but we honor a coupon that is unexpired and presented under its own terms.
• Saving a coupon to your browser is a convenience. The coupon wallet is stored only in your browser, and we are not responsible if your browser clears it; the offer itself is still on the Site until it expires.

8. The email club

The email club is free and optional. By joining you agree to receive service reminders and offers from us by email, as the consent line under the sign-up button says, and you confirm that the email address is yours. Membership starts when you click the confirmation link we send. You can leave at any time with the one-click link in any club email or from the preferences page, and leaving takes effect immediately.

Reminders are timed from the mileage, last service and registration month you gave us. They are reminders, not a diagnosis or an obligation; your owner's manual and the service center's inspection decide what is due. If you drive more or less than you told us, update your garage and the timing follows.

Giving us a phone number and checking the separate text box is not a condition of joining and does not start text messages. We do not send marketing texts today. If we ever do, we will text only people who checked the box, and STOP will always work.

We may change what the club sends, add or remove categories, or close the club. If we close it we will tell members by email and delete the club records as the Privacy Policy describes.

9. My Garage

My Garage is a free, optional account area that keeps your vehicles, your service history, what is due next and your member coupons in one place. It has no password: you sign in with a link we email to the address on your record. You are responsible for keeping that email account secure and for signing out of shared devices. If you think someone else has used your garage, sign out of all sessions from the garage page and tell us.

You agree to add only vehicles you own or are responsible for, and to enter information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Service history you enter yourself is labeled as self-reported and is not a service center record. Service center records matched to your garage show what the service center recorded on its invoice; if you see an error, tell the service center and it will be corrected.

The "next due" estimate in your garage is a calculation from the information in it and from published intervals. It is a reminder, not a promise that your vehicle is fine until then or that it needs work on that date.

You may delete your garage at any time from the preferences page. We may close a garage that has been inactive for three years, as the Privacy Policy describes, or one that is used in violation of these Terms. My Garage may be unavailable during maintenance, and we may change its features.

10. Rev, the chat assistant

Rev is an automated assistant built for us by YelloPost AI. It can answer general questions about our services, hours and service centers and take your name and number for a call back. It is not a technician and not a person. Its answers can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and nothing it says is a promise about price, availability, timing or what your vehicle needs. For anything that matters, call the service center or drive in.

You agree not to use the chat to send spam, abuse or unlawful content, not to try to make Rev say things it is not meant to say, and not to share sensitive information in it. Conversations may be reviewed by us and by YelloPost so that a person can follow up and improve the assistant, as the Privacy Policy explains.

We may change, limit or remove Rev at any time. The Site, the forms and the phones work without it.

11. Forms, the call-back panel and messages

When you send a form or ask for a call back, you agree that we may contact you about your request by phone or email at the details you gave, and that the message, the page it came from and basic technical details are sent to the service center and to YelloPost as the Privacy Policy describes. Sending a form does not create an appointment, a hold or an obligation on either side; it is a request to talk.

We try to answer every request during service center hours, but we cannot promise a response time. If you need an answer right away, call the service center.

Forms are protected by a bot check, a hidden field and rate limits. If a form will not send, call any service center and we will take the request by phone.

12. What you send us

Anything you send us through the Site that is not personal information about you, such as a suggestion, a comment or a description of a problem, may be used by us without obligation to you. We will not publish your name with it without your permission.

Reviews you post on Google or Facebook belong to that platform's terms. We may quote a public Google review on the Site with the first name and last initial shown there. If you would like a review of yours taken off the Site, tell us and we will remove it from the next build.

You agree not to send us anything that you do not have the right to send, including other people's personal information or copyrighted material you do not own.

13. Our intellectual property

The Site and its Content are owned by the company or by YelloPost, which built the Site and its code, tools and chat assistant for us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. The names Xpress Oil & Lube and Xpress Oil & Lube Center and our logo are our marks.

We give you permission to view the Site, print or save pages for your own personal use, and share links to pages. You may not copy the Site's design, code, photos or text for use elsewhere, remove copyright notices, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse something we do not.

Coupons may be shown on your phone or printed for your own use at a service center. That is not a right to reproduce or distribute them.

Third-party marks that appear on the Site, such as oil brands, vehicle makes, Google, Cloudflare and Facebook, belong to their owners. Their appearance describes compatibility or a link, not endorsement.

If you believe something on the Site infringes a copyright you own, email ian@xpressoilandlube.com with the work, where it appears on the Site, your contact details and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized. We will look into it and remove material that should not be there.

14. Links to other sites

The Site links to Google Maps, Google listings and reviews, our Facebook page, the Nevada DMV, manufacturers' maintenance pages, the NHTSA vehicle database and other sources we cite. Those sites belong to other organizations. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Use them under their own terms.

15. Availability and changes to the Site

We may change, add to or remove any part of the Site at any time, including services listed, service centers' hours, coupons, the tools, the club and My Garage. The Site may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We do not promise that the Site will always be available, error-free or current.

16. No promises about the Site's content

The Site and everything on it are provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promise, express or implied, about the Site: not that its content is accurate, complete or up to date, not that it fits your purpose, not that it is free of errors or viruses, and not that any tool's result or Rev's answer is right. Interval and smog information is general guidance, and the sources cited on each page are responsible for their own figures.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under Nevada law in connection with work actually done on your vehicle at a service center. Those rights are governed by the service center's invoice and NRS Chapter 487, not by this section.

Some states do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

17. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the company, its owners, staff and YelloPost are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or the cost of substitute services, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, a tool, a coupon, the club, My Garage or Rev, even if we were told such damages were possible.

If, despite this section, we are found liable for something arising from the Site, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us at a service center for the service most closely connected to the claim in the 90 days before the claim arose, or, if you paid us nothing in that period, to one hundred dollars.

This section does not limit liability for work done on your vehicle at a service center, for personal injury or property damage caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under Nevada law.

18. Your responsibility to us

If your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, a coupon or My Garage, or anything you submit causes a claim against us or YelloPost, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, including attorney's fees, that result from it.

19. Governing law, venue and how disputes are handled

These Terms and any dispute about the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any lawsuit about the Site or these Terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washoe County, Nevada, and you and we each agree to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section stops either of us from bringing a claim in a small claims court that has jurisdiction.

We do not require arbitration. If something goes wrong, we would rather hear from you first: email ian@xpressoilandlube.com or call the service center, describe the problem, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before anyone files anything. Most problems are solved with a phone call.

20. General terms

Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms or your garage to someone else. We may assign these Terms to a successor that takes over the company or the Site, and we will post notice when that happens.

Severability. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, that part is limited or removed to the minimum extent needed and the rest stays in effect.

No waiver. If we do not enforce a term on one occasion, we can still enforce it later.

Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Accessibility Statement and the terms printed on a coupon are the whole agreement about your use of the Site. They do not replace the invoice for work done at a service center. Headings are for convenience only.

Notices. Notices to us go to Xpress Oil & Lube Center, 4993 Longley Ln, Reno, NV 89502, or ian@xpressoilandlube.com. Notices to you go to the email address on your record or are posted on the Site.

Survival. Sections 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 continue to apply after you stop using the Site.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Site, the law or our practices change. The effective date at the top shows the current version. For a material change that affects club members or garage owners, we will email the address on your record before it takes effect. Using the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not, stop using the Site and, if you like, delete your garage.
