Drive times to our service centers from every town
From most of Reno, Sparks, Carson City and Carson Valley, one of our four service centers is within about 15 minutes in free-flowing traffic, by OpenStreetMap routing. Outlying towns such as Spanish Springs, Cold Springs, Stateline and Fernley run 28 to 44 minutes, and weekday traffic adds roughly 10 to 20 percent.

A quick lube only works if it is quick to get to. We routed from the center of each town and neighborhood we serve to all four service centers using the public OSRM routing engine on OpenStreetMap data, car profile, with no traffic, and kept the nearest result. The minutes below are free-flow driving times, not promises, and they say nothing about how long a visit takes once you arrive. The commute table the page generates comes from the Census Bureau; the drive times are in the text.

Highlights
- North Carson City (89706) to College Parkway and Gardnerville to the US 395 service center: about 3 minutes each (OSRM free-flow, OpenStreetMap).
- South Reno (89511) to Longley Lane: about 5 minutes; northwest Reno (89523) to Mae Anne Avenue: about 8 (OSRM free-flow).
- Central Sparks (89431) to Longley Lane: about 10 minutes, or 13 to Mae Anne Avenue (OSRM free-flow).
- Dayton to the Carson City service center: about 18 minutes over 11.5 miles on US 50 (OSRM free-flow).
- Washoe County's mean commute to work is 22.5 minutes and Carson City's 20.5 (ACS 2020-2024).

Ranked
Ten minutes or less
Most of our customers live close. By OSRM routing, North Carson City (89706) is about 3 minutes from the College Parkway service center, and Gardnerville itself about 3 minutes from the US 395 service center. South Reno (89511) is about 5 minutes from Longley Lane. Mogul is about 7 minutes from Mae Anne Avenue, and northwest Reno (89523) about 8. West Carson City (89703) and central Carson City are about 6 minutes from College Parkway, and Minden is about 8 minutes from Gardnerville.
Southeast Reno and the airport area (89502), Hidden Valley, and Damonte Ranch and South Meadows (89521) are 8 to 9 minutes from Longley Lane. Central Sparks (89431), Midtown and downtown Reno (89501) and Caughlin Ranch are about 10 minutes from one of the two Reno service centers, as are Somersett and the University and North Reno area from Mae Anne Avenue.
- Reno Northwest, 6100 Mae Anne Ave: Mogul about 7, northwest Reno about 8, Somersett about 10, Verdi about 13 minutes
- Reno South, 4993 Longley Ln: South Reno about 5, southeast Reno about 8, Damonte Ranch about 9, central Sparks about 10 minutes
- Carson City, 1861 E College Pkwy: North Carson about 3, West Carson about 6, Mound House about 8, Dayton about 18 minutes
- Gardnerville, 1293 US Hwy 395 N: Gardnerville about 3, Minden about 8, the Ranchos about 10, Genoa about 19 minutes
The 15 to 30 minute ring
Indian Hills and south Carson (89705) route about 15 minutes to College Parkway, a little closer than the 21 minutes to Gardnerville. Washoe Valley (89704) is about 16 minutes to Carson City and 23 to Longley Lane. Golden Valley, Lemmon Valley and Sun Valley come in at 16 to 20 minutes to Longley Lane, with Mae Anne Avenue one or two minutes behind. Stead (89506) and Wingfield Springs in Spanish Springs (89436) are each about 24 minutes, and Johnson Lane about 27 minutes to Gardnerville.
These are the towns where pairing services makes the trip worth it: an oil change and, for Washoe-registered vehicles, the smog check at the same Reno stop, or an oil change and a coolant test before winter at Carson City or Gardnerville.
Farther out
Spanish Springs and north Spanish Springs route about 28 minutes to Longley Lane, Topaz Ranch Estates about 29 to Gardnerville, and Cold Springs and the North Valleys (89508) about 34 minutes to Longley Lane. Stagecoach is about 36 minutes to Carson City, Stateline about 38 to Gardnerville, and Truckee, California about 38 to Mae Anne Avenue. Fernley runs about 44 minutes to Longley Lane (OSRM free-flow).
OSRM uses free-flow speeds, so add 10 to 20 percent for weekday Reno traffic on McCarran and I-580, and more for Kingsbury Grade or the Mount Rose Highway in winter. Census commute data show how much time people already spend in the car: Lyon County's mean commute is 29.4 minutes, Douglas County's 26.2 and Topaz Ranch Estates' 41.4 (ACS 2020-2024).
Choosing a service center
The nearest service center is not always the most convenient one. Many Sparks and Spanish Springs drivers pass Longley Lane on the way to work; Verdi and Truckee drivers come down I-80 past Mae Anne Avenue; Dayton and Mound House commuters pass College Parkway on US 50. All four service centers take vehicles without an appointment. See our locations for hours and directions, or the service area pages for the roads in from each town.
