Coupon and email club questions
Show the coupon on your phone or on paper before the service begins and the service center applies it; the expiry, the service centers it is good at and the terms are printed on the coupon itself. The email club is double opt-in, sends service reminders and offers by email only, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe.

We keep the rules short on purpose. A coupon should be easy to use at the counter, an email list should be easy to leave, and nobody should get a text they did not ask for. Here is how each piece works, including what the site stores in your browser and what it does not.
How do I redeem a coupon?
Open the coupons page, tap the coupon you want, and show the full-screen version to the technician before the service starts, or print it and hand it over. The page shows the code, the expiry and the service centers where it is valid. A coupon shown after the work is finished cannot be applied, which is the one rule that catches people.
Where are the terms?
On the coupon. Every card prints its expiry date, the service centers that honor it, one-per-vehicle and no-cash-value lines, and any vehicle limits, such as the oil quantity a standard oil change covers. We do not hide terms behind a link, and we do not restate the coupon values in page copy, because the coupon is the only place a value should live.
Can I combine coupons?
One coupon per vehicle per visit, and a coupon cannot be stacked with another discount or promotion for the same service. Coupons are also not valid with fleet account pricing, since fleet accounts already carry their own agreed terms. If you have two coupons for two different services on the same visit, ask at the window; the coupon face says whether that is allowed.
Do all four service centers take every coupon?
No, and the coupon tells you which. Most offers are good at all four service centers. A smog check coupon, for example, is only good at the two Reno service centers, because they are the service centers that test. Pick your service center at the top of the site and the coupons page shows the ones valid there.
What does saved coupon mean on my phone?
When you open a coupon on this site, your browser keeps a copy on that device so you can get back to it from the coupons page without hunting for the link. Nothing about you is sent to us; the saved coupon lives only in that browser, on that phone or computer. If you clear the site data or switch devices, it is gone, and you simply open it again from the coupons page.
What does the email club send?
Three kinds of email, each of which you can turn off separately on your preferences page: service reminders when your car is coming due, based on the vehicle and mileage you gave us; offers, which are the coupons; and a seasonal note in the fall and spring about batteries, wipers, coolant and air conditioning. A welcome coupon arrives with your confirmation email. There is a cap on how often we write; the point is a reminder, not a newsletter.
Why do I have to confirm my email?
Because the club is double opt-in. After you sign up at the join page you get one email with a confirm button. Nothing else is sent until you click it, and an unconfirmed address is removed after two weeks. This keeps the list to people who asked to be on it and keeps our mail out of spam folders.
How do I unsubscribe?
Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or use the one-click option your mail app shows at the top of the message. It takes effect immediately, not in ten days. The same link opens a preferences page where you can turn off one category, pause reminders for one vehicle and keep them for another, change your preferred service center, or delete everything we hold.
Will you text me?
No. The sign-up form has an optional phone field and a separate, unchecked box for text messages, and we collect that consent only so it is on file if a text program is set up later. Until a text program exists, with its own carrier registration and its own opt-in, nobody will text you from this list. If you ever receive a text claiming to be from us, it is not.
What is My Garage?
A page at /garage/ where club members can see their vehicles, the last service and mileage we have on record, the next-due estimate, and any member coupons. There is no password; you enter your email, we send a sign-in link that works once and expires in fifteen minutes, and the page opens. Sign out from the page whenever you like.
Who sees my information?
The service center, for the purpose of reminding you and honoring a coupon, and nobody else. We do not sell or share the list. Records are kept for three years after your last activity and then purged, and you can delete them sooner from the preferences page. The privacy policy lists exactly what is stored.
I got a coupon by email from the old Castrol-branded site. Is it still good?
Bring it in and ask. The service centers are the same service centers, and the technician at the window can tell you whether an older offer is still being honored and at which locations. Going forward, every current offer lives on the coupons page of this site.
