89512 is the University of Nevada, Reno ZIP. It stretches from the campus and North Virginia Street east through Panther Valley and the neighborhoods off Oddie Boulevard and Sutro Street. It is the youngest ZIP on our list, with a lot of students, a lot of renters and a lot of cars that came from somewhere else.

From campus, go north on Virginia Street or Sierra Street to McCarran Boulevard and follow McCarran west to Mae Anne Avenue. From Panther Valley and the Sutro side, McCarran is the whole route. OSRM gives about 10 minutes. If you are heading south toward the airport or Meadowood, Longley Lane is about 13 minutes by I-580 and the Mill Street exit.
